Purses, bags, and totes
#11
I have used patterns by WhistlePig Creek, Six Pack Stack (tote bag) and Charming Bags book (purses) The tote bag is great, with pockets inside and out and goes together fast for a quick gift. I made two of the purses, one using charm squares and the other using two fat quarters. The smaller one is pretty small, you can just fit the essentials in. The larger one is great and I use it every day.

I made a six pocket tote bag from Fons and Porter, using double sided quilt fabric. I use it all the time! I just bought the mini Bow Tucks pattern and can't wait to get started on that. I looked at all of this Bow Tucks folks on this QB have made, and they're very inspiring.
I have to admit, I love bag, purse and tote patterns :-)

I have made many bags and have plans for more. So many of the present bag patterns call for eyelets on the side of the bag to insert the handles. I have bought the eyelets and the tool to insert them, but have been unable to properly insert them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Links to tutorials are also welcome.
