I have a question. I have made a rag/photo quilt. Now I need to print my photo's on the special paper so I can iron them on my quilt. They are different shapes. Hearts, Oval, Diamond and so on. What I would like to know is how do I take a regular picture and make it into one of the shapes. I need to use whats in my computer beings I don't work and can't afford to buy a program to do that. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am not real good with the computer either, so I need something simple. Thank you so much for your time. Thank You

    Katrina

Do you have something like Microsoft Picture it ? They allow you to make shapes with your pictures .

Do not ruin your originals! I recommend you go to a local print shop and talk to them. My local print shop will reduce or increase the size of one person in a family photo if I needed it.

BTW is your quilt put together? Or is it in pieces? It is a little tough to press using an iron on a sewn together quilt.

My quilt is put together. I made a photo lap quilt a couple years ago. I scanned the photo and then put it on the special paper and ironed it to the quilt. They were just regular shaped photos. This quilt has heart, diamond, square, oval and circle shapes. So I need my pics to be those shapes. I will put my quilt on the ironing board point to iron them on.

I scanned and printed mine before putting them on the quilt.

Click on your start button (move your mouse to the bottom left corner of your monitor to find it) and then click on programs. There should be atleast one photo program in the list. Let us know which ones you have :D:D:D
