what is the best way to put on pockets on a apron . I'm having trouble getting the rounded corners to look nice. How do you put them on to look nice.

Is it a flat cornor or a gathered cornor? If flat, I'd iron it down and pin it in place. If gathered, I would baste the cornor and gather it and then pin it down.

I learned to make the pocket double. Cut two of the pattern piece, sew them together on the seam line, leaving opening. turn right side out and press. You can blind stitch the opening closed. Before turning, trim your seams, clip corners, and on the rounded corner, cut tiny V notches. A good press, then edge stitch to the apron. Hope this helps!Carol

Make a template using thin cardboard, like a cereal box.
Decide on shape and size of pocket, press fabric around template. When sewing you can slide the template up a little as you sew, using this a guide.
    I hope this makes since.

This is the way I learned, too. Besides this way the pocket is double and stronger.
