    Default Q-Opal 690 Husqvarna Viking

I am considering getting the above sewing machine to replace my Pfaff 2.0 expressions. Does anyone have the Viking and let me know how they feel about it? Also, what is the cost for this machine. I was offered a price of $1129.00 with a trade in on my sewing machine of $475.00 which will leave me with a cost of $654.00 before tax. This sounds good to me, but I have no idea how much the Opal 690 goes for. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks and happy quilting!!:-)

I have two Vikings, Designer 1, and the Designer SE...........nice machines, but I wish I had a Pfaff as they have the IDT feature. I would try and keep, the Pfaff for that feature for quilting..........you could always sell it later like on CL. Meet at a coffee shop for your safety. Oh BTW a machine is only as good as the store selling them........

I saw someone paid 800 for one the other day, but I am not sure what the deal was. I know sometimes with trade ins they take it off MSRP so you are not getting as good of a deal as you would buying on sale. You might get more money trying to sell on your own
