Isn't most of our fabric printed in other countries now? I haven't checked the info on each bolt of fabric that I look at, but wasn't this brought up in other discussions?

I'm not bashing China...but I make mostly baby things and I've been very cautious of items from there due to so many recalls.
Interesting note here. I just added to my original question, wondering if where it was made, made any difference? So far, I'm seeing some from China, some from South Korea and some don't specify a place at all. :?:
I wonder if they are not required to label where the fabric is printed?

Not the latest batch, have used calicos fron them before w/ no problems, I do watch for weight/thickness when purchasing, gimme a couple of hours I'll give an update.
some are this assortment includes Quilters showcase, one that says exclusively for them, legacy studio hampton court, and a mtb thats the lightest of the bunch,
Keep in mind I like fluffy soft when complete, (may step on some toes here, please excuse) don't care for the feel of a moving blanket, may last forever, just not to my taste.
Of course QP may get me for that one :):)

May I ask what a 'moving blanket' is?

As far as I know, yes. I've just blindly trusted the name brands of fabrics over the last several years, but I've never delved into the world of calicoes before for quilting, so I guess I need some guidance.

I am not a fan of Keepsake fabric from JoAnns. There may be some that are better quality than others but I rarely buy any of their quilting fabrics any more.

Keep in mind I like Soft Fluffies, Thick fabric, that dosen't always soften up, Sometimes over quilted, "Yep i'm ducking now " Not that I don't respect the Beauty of Great Quilting.

    :-D

I haven't bought any of their fabric for ages since they moved so far away. Thanks for your comment.
