Same for me. I find I piece more accurately without the dual feed. But I definitely use the accufeed when SITD, cross-hatching, and other straight-line stitching on the quilt sandwich, and I also use it when sewing the binding on.

i found this comparison of the O foot to the O2.
she points out several differences i never noticed.

when searching the internet for sources, make sure you search on the janome O2 foot (oh-2); if you search for 02 (zero-2) you'll come up goose eggs.

p.s. the 1/4" dual feed foot that snaps onto the new Horizon models (after the 7700) works like a champ during piecing as well as being faaaaaaaaaaabulous for attaching binding.
