I am looking for a way to make quarter square triangles without making the half square triangles and matching them together. I found something on here a few days ago, thought I had bookmarked it, but can't find it. As I recall there were lines drawn on the back of the square but there was some offset. I've tried search, tutorials, and Google. I hope I wasn't just dreaming. Can anyone help me locate it?

You make two squares say 1 1/2" larger than the finished size (there is a formulae. You draw an X on one of them and sew 1/4" on sides of the lines. cut apart But you still have to sew two triangles together.

You can sew two fabrics together right sides facing each other, sew all the way around the square (all 4 sides) and then cut it into a triangle and then into little triangles. Thats what I did and I have a ton of those little things now.

I like this method. Starching your fabric would really help for this.
