Default question about broken stitch light every 44 stitches on Bernina Aurora 440

I am trying to run my embroidery module on my Bernina Aurora 440 and get a broken stitch alert every 44 stitches or so. I'm trying to teach my 10 yr old how to use the machine, and she may have pushed/broken something? But the regularity of the error light (every 44 stitches) indicates something else to me. Has anyone else encountered this error? Goin crazy trying to figure this out!!!

(Forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong forum.....I'm new!)

Could there be a burr on the spool that is causing the thread to catch with regularity?

I changed various thread spools, cleaned out the bobbin area, threaded a new bobbin, turned everything off/on, etc. I don't get the warning light when I am just straight-up sewing. It's only when I have my embroidery module attached and try to run a design. Every 45 stitches is actually when the warning alert goes off. Feeling frustrated.

Maybe try a new needle, also check the connection between the embroidery unit and the machine. Sounds like time to call your sewing machine technician. It is surprising what they can help you with over the phone. Good luck!

I would email bernina themselves asking if it is a feature of the machine or a technical fault or a problem with this machine . I'm sure they will reply with an answer if only to take to your local supplier. They may welcome knowing about this fault and somebody else may have have already reported it.
