Honestly, every fabric I've bought from my local quilt store the directional design is off kilter. All fabric is the good brand names. It is very frustrating in their block of the month with the small swatches. Panels are the worst for being off kilter. Frustrating indeed!

I too love/like CT but I have found twice that the kits that showed as nice bright blue when they arrived were quite dull and dark. I was disappointed but to ship back was not an option. I headed to my stash and of course had something great. Has anyone else experienced this?

I ordered a kit from CT and the pannel of sewers and old machines was on in the kit. I called and talked to them and got a credit for quilt kit as pannel was needed to make the quilt. Rest of material is really great and alot of it too. Great company to work with.

I have bought from fabric.com, MSQC, joann.com and CT without any complaint so far. The fabric has always looked like it was pictured. If fact joann.com gave me what was left on the bolt because it was less than one yard left after my yardage was measured out.

I have bought from both of these places and have always been very happy with their fabrics. I also love the fabrics from Hancock's of Paducah.

no problem, I don't buy from Joanns anymore because they are getting their fabric from China and it is cheap, cheap, caheap but priced to high for the quality.. go to Marshallsdrygoods.com good prices and nice fabric.. buy name brand or batiks ..

Like many that have posted here, I have had great luck and have been completely satisfied with my purchases from Connecting Threads... often, the fabrics have been better than I expected

I recently ordered some fabric from Connecting Threads, and it was fine. However, I normally only order mfg brands known to me. i.e., Moda, Northcott, and so on. Fabric's I've purchased from a quality quilt shop so I know how they feel and how they sew. So far so good. but I'm blessed with 3 really top quality Local Quilt Shops within minutes from my home. I don't do Joann's for quilting fabric.
