Does any one have a recipe for fray check? I'm
doing a project with denim and need more. And those little bottles
    are not cheap. Thanks

More of a question: I always wondered if clear nail polish would do the same thing??

we used to just stay stitch the edges... it will fray up tothat stitched line... but while working on the project
why wouldn't a light starch solution work?

I don't like using fray check as I always get it on my fingers. I find it hard to control how much comes out of the bottle. It is no different then supper glue. I use starch or white paste glue as it washes out.
