    Plastic file folders will work well. Or plastic that you would cut templates from. Very lightweight and washable as well.

    I have used old cutting mats and maked a "pillow case" for it.
    Also, cheap peel and stick floor tiles.

    Plastic canvas. I have been using it for years since washing is no problem. Also, very cheap and easy to cut to size. Just don't use your good fabric scissors!

    mine are free too..! after the elections,and when they did my roof, and put up the sign with thier companies name on it!

    I saw Connecting threads was selling something for the bottom of totes. I'd use a piece of fiber board or Luan.
