question about monofilament (invisible) thread

I have used monofil' in both N&B with no problems. I did some trials till I got the tension right and it was great. I use a top stitch/ or metallic needle. It has a larger eye so feeds the thread better.
I did put the bobbin through the little extra tension hole on the bobbin and it gives the thread better control.
I only use Superior Monofilament thread. It does not twist when sewing. Others do twist and create havoc with the tension and stitches.
I also added an extra thread guide to the back of the machine by taping a small safty pin to the area between where the thread comes off the spool and goes through the first guide. I just helps to keep the very fine thread under control and helps with a uniform tension.
Be sure to post pictures. Sounds like a fun project.
