Do ALL Pfaffs have the IDT? Or just the higher end ones?

It's a built in walking foot. It can be used or not, you can move the "arm" and sew without it if you want.
    Love it on my 2170.

My LQS is a Pfaff dealer and he tells me that they can be ordered without the IDT, depends on what the shop wants. But, he says he usually orders them with the IDT because they're are so nice to have.

This is interesting, because I have never seen one without the IDT.

Yup, interesting. I just happened to be at the shop when a customer asked about ordering a machine and the subject of the IDT came up. Never know what tidbit of info you'll pick up, huh?!
