I have made numerous purchases from them and have always been satisfied with the fabric, however I too have had a couple of pieces that did ravel but not enough to keep me from ordering from them again. I have found when they have their kits on sale you can get a good amount of fabric for stash at a verrrry reasonable rate and occassionally you get a code for free shipping. Am on hold with ordering right now, waaaaay overspent this month already. :(

I've never used their fabric but I buy all my thread from them. The quality is great and the price is right.

I love their threads! My machine loves them too. I've tired a few fabrics and no complaints! Maybe they should offer our guild a discount! Should I check into it?

I've purchased some of their fabrics and thought they reminded me of Northcott cuz of the nice 'hand' to them. The only reason I don't buy more of their fabrics is cuz I am into brights and batiks etc. Their fabrics are more 'traditional'.

Now I have purchased lots and lots of their thread and I recommend it all the time. Can't beat the price. They have new colors out now and I got 2 of the color sets, the black and white set and several cones in neutrals...it should last me quite a long time.

Go ahead and order, I think you will be quite happy.

    warm quilt hugs, sue

I order almost all my backing fabric from Connecting Threads. Every Wednesday a weekly special is posted on the website. When there are fabrics marked down under $3 that's what I buy for backing. I buy the 1/2 yard sampler packs, I love those. I haven't noticed any raveling that I can remember. My machine likes the thread too. I've never ordered anything from them that I wasn't pleased about.

Bellaboo, thanks for the info. I never noticed the weekly specials, well maybe I have and just don't remember. Getting their fabric for under $3 is a great idea for backing.

I love their fabric also...use the thread also. Makes you wonder if they can sell it for $5.96 why can't other people
