With the snap on foot, what you'd have to do is unscrew and remove the ankle (the screw above the foot shown in the first picture, and screw the walking foot on in the ankle's place. Have you checked out the Sears site? They have a quilting foot package that is very reasonably priced. It would probably tell you what models it fits.

They do have have good prices on the packages. It looks like it just depends on the way the bobbin fits into the machine as which to purchase.

That appears to be a Kenmore made by Janome. A short shank walking foot will work. I believe Joann's sell these and with a coupon you would get a very reasonable price.

Kenmore is made by Janome if it helps any. I bought one for my kenmore and it works fine.

You can use the Elna and Janome feet on your Kenmore. I have
a walking foot just like that one. I had a Kenmore like yours and it died, but the foot works with some of my other
    machines.

It looks kind of like my foot on my Baby Lock. The foot snaps on & off, but there is an Upper part which screws onto the shank. I see a screw on yours. Maybe you need to screw off the upper part and then see if you could use a low, high or slant shank-type of walking foot.

Difference between the short and long shank machines.

If the part of the foot that can be removed from the pressure bar (unscrew the whole foot) is 'short' that is a short shank (about 1/2 inch in height), if it is taller (about 1 inch in height) it is a long shank. A slant shank actually 'leans' backwards instead of straight up.

    Does this help?

Bought mine at Sears was about $20.00 Canadian fits both Kenmores also worked on sisters machine ( kenmore + 35 yrs) so I dont think you should have a problem getting a walking foot for yours.Good Luck!
