Do you think that putting velcro on the back of the snuggie to keep them closed would be a good idea? I know the having it open in the back is like snuggling up with a blanket. But if some people like to keep it wrapped around them, this would stop it from falling off. Just a thought.

I haven't actually seen these except when they were in the box. Are they long that they drag the floor? I was wondering that if I were to make them, I was thinking of making them so that they come right above the foot and maybe put velcro in the back. Do you know how long to make them for kids?

My daughter got one for Christmas and the first thing she asked me was if I could sew up the back so she could slip it over her head and wear it around the house. The only thing is that it drags the ground and I told her that she would get it dirty if she wore it like a house coat.
But I think I will go and buy some fleece and make her one that she can use like a house coat. Maybe play around with the design a bit and see where I can improve it.

Thanks for this link. A young gal I work with just graduated from college. I ordered a snuggie for her with a print from the University she graduated from. When it gets here, I will ask her if she wants me to add some velcro.
