    I lean more toward the second group. It is what I'd like for stained glass effect!

    OMG sigh....................
    I love them but I would choose the first ones,
    assortment #37. They have more color, more life. The second set are almost solid and so could be substituted for with other fabric. If I could, I'd buy the entire first set (37)

    I would use both, but for different reasons! They are all gorgeous (so I am of NO help) LOL!

    I agree - I'd start with something from the first group as a focus fabric, then use complementary or contrasting fabrics from the second group.

    If I were forced to choose one, I'd take the watercolors. I love them on their own, but I also use them as blenders and "solids".
