Question on Bookmarking on Board

Hi! I noticed when I create a bookmark for something on the board, there is a question that says: "Public" yes/no. Can you tell me what this means? Thanks@

yes means others can view your bookmarks no means others can't.

And, along those same lines, does "my pages" allow you to sort bookmarks by topics? So sewing machines on one page, applique on another, etc???
