A friend and I are planning to do Fourth of July sampler wall hangings, and we're going to do a block swap for them. The plan is to 12 inch blocks and make it 3 x 3. Neither of us has ever done something like this before, and we're trying to figure out how many FQs we should collet for them. Obviously the exact amount will depend on which blocks and how many different fabrics, but does anyone have any guidelines? If we have an approximate idea, we can always find more if needed. We were just wondering how many to pick up to start.
