Default Question for Innova Longarm Owners

In March I purchased a 2017 Innova with Mach 3, and GFE and I’m just now getting around to playing with it. I’m really confounded by the ez-locks on the poles. They only lock in one direction, and not both ways when the gears are engaged and I am stumped. I’ve looked at the installation instructions and they seem to have been installed correctly. Wondering if anyone has any insight into this or am I just missing something all together.

They’re made to only lock in one direction so you can incrementally tighten your quilt after you advance your quilt.

What Cindi said. They go in opposite directions, so don't worry that your tension will loosen as you go.
As an aside, don't make the mistake I made when I first started and overtighten your quilt tension. 🤗
