Whichever one you like better of the two, make first. If you really enjoyed making that quilt, I would make it again using different color families. Either one is lovely and you're precious for thinking of your relatives in that way.

First off, I'm glad that you are feeling better!! I like both patterns... if I was the one making the quilts, I would do the two patterns. These quilts are coming from your heart ... they will love the quilt you make especially for them. That's what matters. Please keep us posted on your progress ... would love to see the finished quilts. And ... they will be wonderful gifts for both you aunts at Christmas.

I agree. It sounds as if you already know they're colors, so that is where to start. Take care!

I'd make two different ones. that way each would feel special getting them. Just me but I would than wrap them in the same paper. have someone mix them up. than you put names on them. Would be even fun for you to see who gets which one. And I always things things happen for a reason. so thinking that way each would recieve the one meant just for them.

I like both of them. Because you know their styles and colors? they like, choose if you want to do one pattern with different colors, two patterns with different colors, or two patterns with the same colors. They'll be beautiful which ones you pick.

You probably should make them the same quilt just different colors, but I agree with some of the responses, it gets boring doing so many blocks of the same pattern.

I would do one pattern for one aunt and the other pattern for the other aunt. That way you get the pleasure of working with each pattern and they each get to feel special. Good luck and please post pictures!
