I think my new ones are Fiskers, soo much nicer than the Olfa, and two sided! yellow and light green.

Actually, I prefer my Martelli. It has held up for years! My others had limited lives.

I've only used Fiskars and have had the 24x36 for 15 years now and it's still perfect. I have some pretty deep 45 degree grooves in my large mat (also a Fiskars) but it's still very useable and expect to have it another 5 years at least. I also use Fiskars rotary cutters. Love the ergonomic handles!

    Omnigrid is pretty good too.

Use the backside if you have deep grooves in the front.

I don't know about the Clover mats, but my choices in the past have been Olfa, Fiskars, June Tailor, Omnigrid and last choice Dritz.
The Olfa's are wonderful but when you notice a warp, you need to access this right away.
