Default Question for quilters who also knit/crochet

If you are familiar with Ravelry, is there a similar site for quilters where we can organize stash and supplies, download paid and free patterns, post up our projects with notes, etc? Or is this site the Ravelery for the quilting world?

I’ve wondered the same thing. It would be cool to have a similar site for world-wide quilters, but I don’t know of one.

There is a site called Textilla -

    www.textillia.com

That being said - I do not belong to it but doing a quick search there as a guest, it appeared to be similar to Ravelry but not as easy to search on (imho -lol).

Another one is www.mysewingcircle.com which you have to be a member of to look at.

Thank you, eparys. I will check out Textilla. I totally forgot about My Sewing Circle, I think I may still have an account on there. I signed up when it was new.

I just tried to use the sewing circle link and my tablet warned me that it is not a secure site.

The "mysewingcircly" is only http and not encrypted - but as the info you will be sharing over the link is not financial or personal I generally do not worry about it on sites like this. Being "not secure" is different from being dangerous imho. There are many http sites still around.

Yes, but it appears that not even the login page is using https (secure http), which means passwords are being sent unecrypted, which is bad. It's especially bad because many people use the same password on multiple sites. If I remember correctly, this quilting board wasn't using https when I first signed up for it, but I don't think I noticed until later on.
