Question re: Photo Transfer Quilt Blocks
I would like to make a rag quilt that has a photo transfer. Just one block in the center of the quilt. I would expect this quilt to get a lot of use and be washed pretty often.
So, my question is, how durable would a photo transfer be? and does anyone have any particular recommendations for the brand of transfer?
Thanks!!

I've had success with Printed Treasures on memory quilts. Both have been washed several times without noticeable fading in the photo. Years ago, I used something else for a family tree photo wallhanging. It ran a lot after it had to be washed.

I use the Miracle sheets from www.c.jenkins.com they work great. The fabric sheets are heat set, then rinsed. The instructions are easy, the fabric is color safe, it washes well, and the fabric remains soft not stiff. I've used a lot of them in projects.
