    Hi Everyone,

I have deceived to try the 505 basting spray but have a question. Was told it works great with cotton batting but not so wonderful with polyester batting, wanted to know what y'all thought, especially since I use mostly polyester batting.

So tired of so much pinning and still getting waves and puckers.

Thanks for your help and input.

I tape my backing down and then layer with the 505 and warm and white and top, but I still pin if the project is large.

I use it with poly batting just fine...
But if the quilt is large, even twin size, I still pin.
That way I can quilt, put away, and quilt again.
    Just my 2 stitches...

The only time I have trouble using the spray with poly batting is if I have heavily starched the fabrics, then I have to use alot more of the spray.I use the spray to hold poly batting to the underside of fabric while I machine embroider, and with the hoop moving all around it holds in on very well.

I use 505 on all my work, and I love it, haven't had any problems.

No problem here with using poly batting -- but it seems to take more spray than when I use all cotton batting....

I have not had a problem with poly batting and spray basting. Good luck! I do also pin if it is very large!
