I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my question. Your answers were very interesting. I am now in the process of trying to convince the head of the charitable organization that a raffle is the way to go. I too would be heartbroken if they only got $100 for my "creation". Thanks again to all.

We went to a fundraiser for an old school last Saturday. There were some quilts there. They started them lower (I think around $50.00), but both went for more than $250.00. The quilts were not that good either. I think they were from an estate and the family did not want them. Don't know if this will help or not.
