Golly, I don't think I've ever been in a quilt shop that doesn't carry Moda fabrics. Never even considered that they'd be hard to find. Glad you were successful! :D

The nice thing about ordering known lines (Moda, RJR, etc.) is that the feel of the fabric is pretty much the same. I like to see the fabrics, as colors vary from computer to computer, though it is getting better.

I would have thought that, too, but as it turns out, that isn't the case. Moda printed just a couple of their recent lines on 75x75 fabric instead of their customary 60x60. They thought they were doing their customers a favor by using a finer cloth. By the time I asked Moda's customer service department what was going on, they had already received enough feedback from quilters to tell them that they need to go back to the thicker 60x60 cloth.

The two future lines that are going to be printed on 75x75 are Dogwood Trail and Summer Breeze II. And of course you know that the Moda Marbles are printed on a different cloth (though I don't know what it is officially called). The rest of their lines are going to be on the highly favored 60x60.

Yes I have ordered from them, and was very satisfied. They are quick to mail and if any questions you can call them.

Try Hancock's of Paducah. Their catalog is beautiful and they have tons of Moda fabrics. :-D

If you are only shopping at chain stores such as Hancocks, Hobby Lobby or Joanns the clerks are not as apt to be familiar with Moda. If you shop at a quilt store, I can't imagine any of them not carrying that line of fabric or at least being familiar with it!
