I love Missouri Star Quilt Company. They also have great tutorials. Last summer when I really started to get interested in quilting, I went to a shop hop. Almost all carried Moda. When I went to one who did not carry it, I asked why. She said because all the other shops do. I can't believe a quilt shop employee never heard of Moda.

I buy mostly online, my LQS carries some, but not a lot and usually not the series that I care for
    I buy from fabric.com, oldcountrystore.com, fabricdepot.com, fatquartershop.com to name a few

go to www.quiltshops.com and look for shops in TX, OK, and KS....that is ALL they seem to carry around here as Moda(united notions) is in TX....sigh...I get so sick of seeing Moda everywhere!

you can go to the MODA site and see what lines are coming out and then do a search for those lines at quiltshops.com....and ebay, and etsy...

be warned though that MODA is now only dealing via Reps, no warehouse sales on fabric any more, due to the limited supply of quality greige goods. If shops do not order their fabric from a MODA rep, or if there are not enough orders for the FULL lines, they are not even going to print them! Some lines are also coming in quite a bit thinner this year!

I have purchased from there and always have had a great transaction, plus their website is great, lots of video tutorials.
Also have you tried www.fabric.com. Free Shipping on orders over 35.00 and lots of fabrics.
