I don't know if my Joanne's carries it or not. Hm...I don't usually look at their lines that are 9.98 a yard. Unless there is a huge sale on them.
No, Joann's does not carry Moda fabrics ... you won't find them in chain fabric stores - only LQS :)

I promise you it won't be difficult. Getting your hands on Moda fabric is one of the easiest things you could do as a quilter.

I get my Moda fabric from Chickadeeshops.com, she takes more pride in the way she sells fabric than anyone I have ever seen. I also have ordered from Missouri Quilt shop and was very disappointed in how dirty looking the fabric was. I know that it is the nature of the animal to have lint on it but one would think you could use a lint roller before sending off an order. IMHO, BTW there is a Moda shop in Texas and they do have there own website to order from. Right now Chickadee's is having a 30% off sale and she automatically takes off 10% right from the beginning I think you will be as happy as I was with service and everything else.

Question: Any tips/suggestions for making a queen size quilt in the British Union Jack Flag pattern?
we have drafted our own pattern, but welcome suggestions in handling the points near the center.

I've only bought a Binding Ruler from them. I couldn't buy it at first because they were out of stock so I asked when they were getting more in and if they accepted PayPal. They were quick to reply, helpful, and friendly. Plus they have a rewards system...you get points on items you buy and you can later use those points to take off money of a future purchase.
