Does anyone do machine embroidery for hire?

My son is starting a new company and wants to have his logo put on several shirts - to be honest he can't afford the prices at a commercial shop. So, if you are experienced enough to do it I would love to hear from you and what you would charge..it would involve digitizing the logo.
    Thanks

I do not have the capability to digitize the logo. However I have a friend who does. Her website is creativestitchart.com. She does a beautiful job. I do not know how the pricing works. Good luck finding what your son needs.

If your son can't afford the prices at local embroidery shops, perhaps he should rethink his desires for the shirts. The prices are based on the fact that the equipment, software, thread, training, etc. all cost the shop owner up front. He/she ain't gonna do it for free.

To do a good digitization of a logo requires skill and a LOT of time. You can run an image thru an auto digitizing application, but frankly, it will not result in a design that i would want to represent my company. Embroidery, like quilting, is usually a lot more expensive than most folks realize because of the time involved along with the expense of the embroidery equipment.

I'd be happy to digitize the logo for your son, and I have a friend who would sew it out. If you interested, send me a private message.
