48 and when I go to my guild, my husband says that I am going to my senior citizen's meeting.

66 and got into quilting at age 60. Started crocheting at 30 and my husband told me I was acting like an old lady, but I just kept on making afghans anyway!

I'm 68 but tell him I'm 44. I'm cutting it in half. That is how old I feel. LOL

64... my DH has never been around women who sew which means he has no preconceived ideas about quilting and age. And besides that, most of my quilting buddies are at least 10 years younger than me. :D I think that makes me young at heart.

I am 59...I started sewing and knitting at age 12--self taught from library books. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 10.
