    I use a large crochet hook to close the pins.

    Recently found PINMOOR - these you use with quilter straight pins to baste! Being a tad more arthritic than I woul d like to admit -- those safety pin, in any size, just kill me.

    You might want to look into them.

    I use a grapefruit spoon to to close the pins.

    I use safety pins and an old, tough cutting mat for pinning.. The Kwik-klip is wonderful!!

    I use small pins but want to try the pinmoors. Waiting for hubby to get to Harbor Freight.
