    The buyer I bought mine from actually gave me a two yr warranty and I ended up using it but I think he owned a company so it was more cost efficient to him, if it didn't work he could fix it. Do a disclaimer; there are alot who give a 7 day return policy and others that sells as is. Make sure this is established up front when posting the ad though.

    Thanks a lot for your replies. I'm still uncertain as to how I will proceed. I will definitely check out the escrow option.

    Quilters are some of the nicest people I've ever met - I'm just afraid to find that one bad apple.
