Questions...Using the Parrs-Reel Ruler system

I haven't tried ruler quilting, but I do know about slipping rulers. Over the years I have tried many products that have helped. This week I saw someone using the best nonslip product that I have ever seen. She was using small pieces of clear skateboard tape on the underside of her ruler? It is available from Amazon.
