    I always use double fold bias binding. It is my foolproof method for me. Straight grain bi ding scares me since I can't even manage to hem curtains with frog sewing.

    Anything that is going to get a lot of wear gets DFB, wall hangings can get SF or a facing because they get less wear and washing. Bias binding also wears better if a project will get a lot of attention.
