I make a lot of double slice quilts. Jenny Doan shows how on youtube.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm loving them all, and the dog!

Warm Wishes is a free pattern online. It is always quick and looks complicated. And I like a rail fence quilt too.

Disappearing 4-patch is relatively quick, easy and looks intricate.

How about 'Half Step Block', 'Bento Block' or HST with one color in each of the blocks.

I like nine patch blocks alternating with snowballs. Can be very effective, depending on the fabric you use.

Potato Chip Quilt! So named because you can't make just one.

Warm Wishes is my all time favorite. Have made many... all given away. It looks complicated, but isn't.

I'll never tire of log cabins and Irish chain quilts with all their variations.
