    Default Seam ripper

I've been using one of these for years. It's called a shaver. A cordless shaver. Went to my drawer and found it. Used it, tried it. Cost me all of $10.00. Just saying.

Just saw the video and sure enough it's like the little shaver I have in my drawer. You can pick them up at Walmart.

Thanks to everyone who keeps reminding me that it's a shaver. First I have never seen a shaver like this. My husband uses a different type. Second, I have no problem paying a little more to keep a quilt business going. Sheesh. Just saying.

Wow, I could do some serious damage with the shaver. Will definitely look for the eyebrow trimmers the next time I go to the Dollar Store.

I just bought a shaver at Rite Aid for $7.99 and it works perfectly fine. You do have to hold it just right and pull the top fabric up. But it saves so much time! I've had to use it plenty of times. I make many mistakes. Many!

I really like my seam ripper also, but be warned, it will cut fabric if you aren't careful. I got a little careless because it was working so well and cut a slice into my fabric. No big problem since it was a purse and I was able to recut the fabric into another needed piece. The shaver is great for long seams

Yup, did the same thing. Was in a hurry and cut into the fabric, but I too had more so it wasn't a big deal but there is a little leaning curve. But I love mine!

I use it...sometimes a lot!!! I bought it from LQS, found it looked just like my tiny shaver that I use om my Pom's feet. So if I need another will be buying it from Walmart! I had to get it during a crisis when I got a new 1/4 inch foot and ALL my seams were off! Took everything apart and started over...loved the ripper that day!

I'm with Ghostrider, I have the mustache trimmer from Walmart, it works great, hold it upside down in your hand like a pencil and rippit, rippit, rippit. This is the same way you use the quilting trimmer. Why is it just because it comes from a quilting source, we pay more for it? The trimmer from a quilting supply store is $20 but the one from Walmart is closer to $10. I'll use the difference for fabric.

    Red face seam ripper

If you go to any store and get the hand held razors for the eyebrows they work great! You get a few in the package and they are cheap and last a long time.
