    Have fun at your Mystery Class - I love making mystery quilts. They always challenge my color sense. I would cut my pieces as specified. It could save you lots of problems later.

    Took me an hout just to pick my fabric. I am not totally happy with the background, wish I had gone with a yellow instead. Hope I like it at the end though. No more money or time to buy more.

    Yes but it is SMALL line and hard to see on my omni-grid ruler! I do cut the measurement called for but I really like cutting fabric on the BIG lines!!!! Also my favorate ruler does not have 1/8" marks! I still would not recommend cutting bigger since you do not know how this block will fit into the whole quilt pattern.
