quilt advice
I'm making a controlled scrappy ribbon quilt. I saw a tutorial on MSQC. I'm going to have lots of different 2.5 inch partial strips left. I'd like to use friendship stars where the corner stones in the sashing goes. I'd use 5 squares of the same fabric to make these. Would this be too much as most likely there would be a variety of different color stars. Isn't there a program to help me decide, what is the name and is it free. LOL.

I believe you are asking about EQ7. It is not free. Quilt Wizard is the simplified version of EQ7 and I got mine for around $30 at Joanns. It is very limited though and I did upgrade to EQ7.
Too busy is a matter of opinion. I think it sounds like a fun quilt, but it is what you think that really matters.

I think there was some program that was posted here a while back about a free program. I have EQ7 and it takes a bit of a leanring curve but I prefer being able to use current fabrics in my designs.
