I am almost finished with a jeans quilt. I am looking for ideas for binding material. My plan is to use a light weight flannel on the back with no batting, since we live in FL.

    Suggestions?

What about using the same binding as you backing?
Or a binding in flannelette that contrasts with both the front/back?
I'm thinking ... blue jeans, blue printed flannelette backing, and a navy binding; or for example if it perhaps was a printed primary colour backing, then pull out one of the colours for your binding.

I'd go with the flannel, bandanna print, or a bold floral

you could use the birthing method and skip the binding. or i like the previous poster's idea of bandana fabric.

Could just sew edges together and snip for rag quilt look. That would work great with the denim and flannel
