    I'd make my own binding, cut 2.5 inch strips, fold in half, sew on, flip over and hand sew the binding with mitered corners. I prefer my own binding because I can match it with fabric from the quilt.

    I always do what they call a "french binding" I use a bias strip 2.5" folded in half, machine sewed on front, and hand stitched on back. Here is more detailed instructions.

    (aka double fold binding)
    do the same but flip to back, do not like single bindind or unmitred.
