My only problem is perfecting sewing the binding on by machine instead of hand sewing.
So far I still havnt perfected it to the point of not seeing the sewing line in some areas.
I did try the method of bringing the backing to the front and liked it except for the corners, could not get them to mitre.

If you decide to do the 45 degree seam, you might consider doing short segments, like 8 or 10 inches so that it looks like a scrappy stripe. Post some pictures when you get it finished so we can see what you decided to do. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Thank-you. I'll try it both ways and see whether it makes a difference. Your directions for sewing it on the bias is the clearest I've seen. I took a class that covered all of that and she managed to make it very confusing and it really isn't.
