I have been working on a quilt block, its a busy block because it just is. My question has anyone ever seen one like this. thank goodness for pins.

the center is a square folded back on its self to make a pedal of the flower

I think it might be an interesting part of a sampler...don't know if I would want to have to make a whole quilt with that pattern...

I've never seen that block before, but, it sure is unique. Do you have a pattern name or is it your own design? I really like making stars and as I said, that one is certainly unique.

I made this block in 2002, and when i started working out of town it was put in a box, then to many "kids" came home. so i have to give up my quilt room, but i have it back now. i was trying to make the center as if it was flower, rose or a mums i think i got close to one of them. it is my design
