It is the Grandmothers Choice block. It is a lovely quilt that you posted a link to. When I looked it up it said it was a 10" block. Hope this helps. I love the old fashioned blocks. May have to put it on my to do list for someday. LOL Here is a link. http://www.quilttownusa.com/mom/gcblock.htm

I love a white background on a quilt. I will neer be able to make one however, I can keep white clean about 5 mins.
