I have had this book for quite a while, and find it is a great resource. Great call to recommend it! Thanks for bringing it to the attention of others!

Did you see her at the Mountain Quiltfest about 5 or 6 years ago? She was a blast and what ENERGY! She never stopped! She notated my book for me. I love it.

I didn't see her on the list of instructors. Unless she is there just walking around.
At the road 2 California in Ontario in January my Daughter and I are going. She won't be there that ZI know of but Elenor Burns well and we have signed up for her american barns class. We signed up in June and we got the last 2 spots in one of the 4 classes that she is teaching. So that sounds like fun. Also we are taking Jodie can't remember her last name at the moment she is the gal that has the sq in a sq ruler and books. We are doing a block that is in the gold rush quilt. Haven't used her ruler and I have had it for years. Hope I can learn how to use it and arn't the dummy of the class.
I took a 2 day class with Freddy moran and every one had been to her classes before and they were going so fast and I was getting so confused I was about in tears in the bathroom. Well the second day my friend and I were the only ones that had been in her class before and it was much slower and easier to follow and she had me cut her examples for her. She kept telling me don't get frustrated the light blub will toun on don't worry. Not sure if it did but had a great day the second day. But she tells you to forget all the rules that have been drilled into your head and go with the flow. Well I'll tell you that's hard to do.
Ordered the couple of books that I didn't have today so looking forward to them coming.
    bye for now kjym Kathy

That was one of the first books I bought when I started quilting. I was also fortunate enough to be able to visit her shop when I was in Santa Monica. Good book,
