Quilt Book - "New Spin on Curved Piecing" help?
My birthday is this month, and my daughter and I earlier this week, made a trip to Joann's to shop for my birthday gift - nothing really caught my eye.
BUT -----
well they had a quite a few quilt books on clearance, so I chose 4 of them (2 from her and 2 from her dad), when we went to the register, surprise they were marked down much more, but they rang up 75 -90% off ($4 - $6 each)!!! Back to the quilt books section and I got 6 more!!! 10 new books - and I cannot get my hands on them until April 21!!!
Today, my DH took my DGS's to the movies, I dropped them off and headed back to Joann's. The book section was almost emptied, but I managed to find 4 more books, total of $15.00 (extra 15% off too). Waiting for the movie to be over, I sat in my car and pored over 2 of the books. Oh my, my creative mind is in heaven. I feel like a new woman, I am going to go out of my comfort zone - the book is "A new spin on curved piecing - celtic knot table runner. Has any one ever tried a book by Joyce Lawrence Cambron? Any hints before I start?

I too went to a Joann's recently and found a lot of their quilting books on clearance sale....don't tell me they are going to discontinue carrying them? I always get books with a coupon...that will be sad.
