Quilt Class
#1
Today I took a Japanese Yukata cloth class with Roberta Horton. I really enjoyed it. It was something very different, we used 4 different Yukata materials and then we incorporated our own fabric. She started us out with a 6" triangles and our job was to understand value, color and design our own work of art. Needless to say, my brain was working overtime but then all of a sudden the light turned on. I am working on the 3rd clue of our Mystery Quilt. Would love to know what others are doing.

I only have it pinned on my quilters cloth and it is only 2/3 done, I have to find a material to go with what I am doing. I will post a picture when I do have it done. No one sewed in this classs, it was all about understanding color, placement of triangles, creating light & shadow, color flow, designing, etc.
