    Default Quilt Cut 2

Does anyone own a Quilt Cut 2 ? Do you like it ? I am torn between the Quilt Cut 2 and the Accu Quilt.
The Accu Quilt seems a lot more costly.
i would love to have input from anyone who has used these items.

I have the original Quilt Cut and the Accu Quilt. They are both so different. Accu Quilt for sure!

I have been using a Quilt Cut 2, and I just love it! It helps so much with accurate cutting, especially if you have arthritis or any other problems with your arms. I wouldn't change this system for anything else.

I have had my Alto's QuiltCut2 for so long I had to replace the mat! I love it. If it weren't for my Pfaff's - due to the IDT technology - and the QuiltCut2 I wouldn't be quilting so much!!!

Right now it hurts to cut even 2 layers of material. At least with the QuiltCut2 I know it will be over sooner as it only takes one pressure point to hold the cutting edge in place vs. a whole hand with a ruler.

My friend has the Quilt Cut 2 and absolutely loves it. Finds her cutting far more accurate. I'm coveting one...just won't get off the $$ for one though!

I have both and they are quite different. If I had to choose, I'd keep the Quilt Cut. I had it first and it made my cutting so much more accurate. I use it for everything, from cutting out shapes to squaring up blocks.

Now, the Accuquilt is great for cutting out shapes (assuming you have the proper die) but it doesn't help with trimming and squaring things up.

I think the Quilt Cut is more versatile.

I have the Accuquilt and have lots of dies. Some that are still in their wrappers. The only problem I have is finding a place to set it up. Right not it is set up in my garage and far away from my fabric which is upstairs. I think if I had it closer to the fabric I would use it much more. My creeky bones don't do well going up and down the stair too often..
