Can you call them? I get confused easily because they do seem to change the rules mid-stream..

The ad says buy 3 yards, get your 3rd yard free. It is confusing.

Doesn't each statement have the same result? Whether you buy 2 or 3 yards, the 3rd one is free. So the 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th yards would be free - right?

It can be a bit confusing but ... take the total yardage divide by 3 and that how many free yards should show up in your basket. So you had 12 yards .. divide by 3 and you had 4 yards free the amount you should have. Hope that clears it up for you. If you do the math and you get a fraction or decimal then you have not got enough yardage to get get the full advantage of the full sale.
Buy 3 yards get the third free is the same as buy two get the 3rd free.

If you ordered 12 yards then you will get 4 for free. 2+2+2+2 = 8 1+1+1+1 = 4 They should really have advertised buy 2 & get the third one free.

This is giving me a head ache! Six of one and half a dozen of another.

This is how they sell stuff. I believed everything I heard on TV or Radio until i went to work at a radio station. After that I don't believe too much unless Jesus tells me.

However it was said, it means the same thing...buy two yds, get the third free.

Agreed, both mean the same. I was thrilled to find a Jason Yenter fabric I want for $6 a yard, so I ordered all five yards they had, then added another yard to get it free. I paid a great price for my fabric, then received 2 yards of the six free. The shipping is the clinker. $8 for the first three, but only a few cents more for the second 3, so it wasn't too bad.
