I use the lint roller brush. Then when the quilt is given, i tell them their job is to pick off the fuzzies. They laugh, but I mean it, I can never get them all!

Throw a wet towell in the dryer and set it on permanent press, removes wrinkels and lint

I keep a lint roller in my sewing room, my favorite one is like a paint roller, easier for me to work with. I use it to get the fuzz off my rottary cutting mat also. I also have packing tape and keep a roll of scotch tape near my sewing machine for the times when I have burried my lint roller.

Also I use the tape for the small pieces of thread when I "unsew" something. It really pulls those small, itty, bitty pieces out easily.
